Managing Directors

Travis Nelson
Prior to co-founding Pacific Partners, Travis was a principal at Oak Hill Capital Management, the private investment arm of The Robert M. Bass Group. Travis worked on private investments in a wide range of companies, including both mature businesses and evolving technology businesses. Previously, Travis worked as an investment professional at Freeman Spogli & Co., a private equity investment firm. Travis began his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. working in Corporate Finance. He received a B.A. from DePauw University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Gordon Rubenstein
Prior to co-founding Pacific Partners, Gordon was a partner of the Optimum Investment Group ("OIG"), a Chicago investment management firm, which manages approximately $2 billion of institutional and individual funds. At OIG, Gordon focused on public and private equity investments in technology companies and emerging business models. Prior to joining OIG, he worked in the Investment Division of Wells Fargo Bank. Gordon has served as an advisor to several early-stage technology companies. He received an AB from the University of Michigan.

Vice President

Max Kay
Prior to joining Pacific Partners, Max worked in the Technology Group at Merrill Lynch where he advised companies on mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate financings. Max graduated with a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College.
